All about today

To begin my day with the beginning of my day I record that I woke up.
At 5:30 and decided to do something for Robert who due to the bleck feelings of pregnancy generally survives with a bowl of cereal in the morning. And he likes cereal but it must get old.
So I made him scrambled eggs (never made those before), bacon, jelly toast and oatmeal. I was pleased with myself and Robert liked it a lot too.

After Robert left for work I went back to bed for a couple hours until Ari thought we should get up. Then after setting her up with cheerios and milk I proceeded to attempt to something today-which generally fails miserably. I was just accepted into Medicaid but I don't have my card yet so I had to call them to check on a few things. The lady interrupted a TON but she was very helpful so I concluded it was ok.

On Tuesday I had my first actual Doctor visit and a nurse visit. In the first appointment I had to answer about a hundred questions, get a flu shot and have four vials of blood taken. Wowsiers...that made me tired. I think today my arm is finally not aching anymore. I have been suffering from the shot though; headaches, exhaustion, sore throat. And I know what you guys are thinking: EVIL EVIL FLU SHOT! hehe
I guess until I personally have a bad experience with one it seems like a good idea and even if not a good idea it doesn't really seem to matter so I might as well. I can just hear the disagreement before I even post this.

Anyway the second appointment was a full physical which equals really big ick and a few tears. But that is over now and I feel better about it all. Although once my bloodwork is in I will feel even better. I ALWAYS think something is going to be wrong in some way when I go the hospital.

Last night I had five missed calls from the hospital which really scared me since I don't know the results of my tests in yet. I called the hospital but they had NO idea who called me and referred me to the maternity wing but she didn't know either. After about 20 minutes the first number called again and it was a machine telling me I have an ultrasound Monday. Wow...all that agitation for nothing. I was then very impressed by that second lady I talked to because she tried to figure it out and got back to me even though it meant texting my phone to tell me to call her personal phone because she wasn't able to get through normally for some reason. She hadn't found anything but agreed it was probably just the ultrasound thing. I just thought that was super kind of her to try so hard to reach me.

Hurrah! Cynthia picked up my medicine so now I have my anti nausea and prenatal pills. So awesome.

Well....then that night we went to the awesome party with the fries and had a blast.
