Mom's Night Out

Last night Robert and I went on a date!
Wow...it has been months since we actually went out on a date-like probably last fall.
We went to a pre screening for the movie "Mom's Night Out" in Des Moines.
Afterwards we went out to Culvers...
It was a lot of fun to get out and just spend an evening in each other's company.
About the movie though-it was so good.
An awesome combination of actors-Alex Kendrick, Robert Amaya and several others who were in Courageous, Trace Atkins-think country music and Sean Astin (Samwise Gamgee).
So obviously the acting was amazing the movie had a really good message (it is not a Sherwood movie so the message was not like-THAT amazing by comparison but it was still so so good)
It is all about being a Mom and the roller coaster ride that is and when we fail and feel like we can't do it.
So in other words-I really identified with it and it almost made me cry.
It is absolutely hilarious too! And with like, 100 women and 6 guys you can imagine how much laughter there was.
Everyone who went received a "Swag Bag" complete with a poster, some promotional materials, band aids, a nail file, a key chain with little verse reminder cards and some other fun stuff.
It is coming out May 9 and I just really encourage everyone to go see it when it comes out.
I am going to try and see about getting it to come to our town.

Aside from that it had been awhile since I have blogged-or done my daily journals or pictures-but hey, that's why I didn't make real resolutions and I will still do what I can.
The last few times before this I have been really focused on our financial troubles so I wanted to get on here and just praise God because He has seen us through.
Our bills are caught up for the first time and so long and we are able to start saving money again.
I am so grateful to God for this...who knows what will happen next but now we are well provided for and God brought us through so I believe whatever happens all will be OK.

Also I have completed another of my 16 tasks...Conversions and all that went with it. So only 14 left...

Thank you Lord for watching over us.

Have a wonderful day everyone!
