Well we were up sooooooooooooooooooooo late last night and tonight seems to be following the same pattern so I am going to make this brief.
This morning after a lovely breakfest we headed to the forest in search of delicacies such as blueberries and mushrooms. We did well on both. I started with berry picking (wasn't much help I'm afraid) but the mosquetos were so awful I had to constantly bat them from Ariana. She didn't get any bites which I am very happy about.
I decided to go by Elizabeth and switch to mushroom hunting.
They are much easier to find here than in America.
Once we were done with that we came home and had lunch and just hung out and this evening Elizabeth stayed at home with the little''uns while Matthew, Shaina and I went to the ballet in Riga.
We took the train and had to rush to the train. Matthew ran ahead and bought tickets and me and Shaina crossed the track about two minutes before the train was there.
Matthew was in an interesting mood so he brought mugs and a thermos of tea for us to drink on the train.
It was soooooooooo funny!
Once we arrived in Riga we walked around.
There was a Christian singing group in front of the Freedom Monument so we listened to them a bit, took pictures by the monument and walked beside the canal.
About 30 minutes ahead of time we headed in and got our second balcony seats.
The opera house was just beautiful!
I took a lot of pictures which I will try to upload soon.
Sleeping Beauty was so beautiful-although I am really not a ballet person I thoroughly enjoyed it.
We had to leave a tiny bit early to catch our train.
Now we are snacking and getting ready for bed.
We are headed for the Baltic Sea in the morning
Have a great night everyone!
