A Day at the Sea

Today Shaina, Elizabeth, Daniel, Amelija, Ariana and I hit the trains and headed for the sea in Jurmala.
We strolled the charming little city and looked at the outdoor vendors.
Shaina bought an amber ring and she is most pleased with it!
There was sooooooooooooo many beautiful dresses but they were sooooooooo expensive so we resisted.
We got some snacks and headed to the sea!
I love, LOVE, LOVE the Sea!!!!!!!!!!!
This was by far the most I ever have spent in the sea.
It was so wonderful!
I kept going out and finding sandbars and crouching down to let the waves crash into me with all thier glorious might!
Shaina wasn't feeling quite that bold-she waded in though and loved it thoroughly-it was her first time at the sea.

At the end I took Ariana to the edge and put her feet in the water. She seemed to think her had a crazy mother for doing that until I let her play in the sand which she thoroughly loved.
It was such a wonderful and delightful day.
On the way back people were crazy helpful for Latvians. Elizabeth was trying to get the stroller up a ramp and some crazy hippie looking guy just lifted the thing and carried it up the stairs for her.
And a man lifted it off the train for her.
On the train was quite funny Shaina and I were by a very dull looking man who throughout the ride was watching Ariana getting more and more amused until he just started laughing and laughing. Before he got off he said "This was a long day for me. This has been fun."
Ahhh...that amused me so much.
