Thoughts about our baby

Today I have been doing some thinking about our little'un. (Not an unusual occurance =)
I was doing an inventory to see what all we have and what is still needed. It's kinda funny:

  • 4 strollers (hehe I will have no reason not to go on walks with her)
  • 1 Playpen
  • Toddler Bouncer
  • Vibrater Swing
  • Swing
  • Highchair
  • Backpack Carrier for Infants
  • 3 Snugglies (I look forward to carrying her around in those)
  • A HUGE tub of toddler clothes
  • A big box of  6-12 months clothes
  • Two boxes of 3-6 months clothes
  • 1 box of zero-3 months clothes
The next crucial thing is the car seat and man is that crucial. Without out she can't come home.
Personally I think she needs some fluffy little dresses-yes I just said that. Even fluffy dresses have their place. Like this one, I feel this is one of the most adorable little person dresses of all time...

Also I was thinking about her being dedicated...confusing thing that is...you see I am going to one church but belong to another yet I want my Daddy to do the dedication and he is not pastor of either one of the churches...hrmm....

It's starting to seem so close. The due date is in six weeks now. Yesterday I had a doctor's appointment and this time even they are starting to get ready. They sent my birthplan over to the hospital already and they wanted to know if it was boy in which case we would have had more matters to discuss. That's another thing...what if the doctor's are wrong and it is a boy? I will love the little fella but it would be so shocking...

I CAN NOT WAIT for the nausea to be over...and while I know I will still be tired it will be in a different way...and I look forward to that. I wonder so much what she'll look like? What color of eyes will she have?

I was contemplating too the Latvian tradition of having godparents...hmm...there is so much to think about and wonder.
One thing I think is quite funny is the doctor always asks the same questions and so far my answers have been the same. I have not swelled at all. My blood pressure has not changed at all...and I'm still feeling sick. Yesterday was the last of my regular appointments.
Next time I have a test for Strep B and then go on weekly from February 7th on...

Well. I had best do something else. Have a wonderful day everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
