Wednesday afternoon my parents arrived in Harlan from Chicago and before that, Latvija. They spent the night at the Settle Inn on the outskirts of town. I hung out with them for around 4 hours. Mostly at thier hotel. They brought me all sorts of lovely things to eat:
Lots and lots of chocolates, chips, wafer cake from Elizabeth, cappy, rye bread, crackers and even pickles! Ahh...it's all so wonderful.
We had a very nice visit. My Mom and I just layed on her hotel bed and talked and laughed. It was lovely.
That evening my Dad, Mom and I went to Victoria Station and ate and then I showed them around the new fitness center. That was my Wednesday.
Wednesday night I did not sleep good at all. It was crazy windy. I am talking The Secret Garden I was expecting some kid to start wailing any second wind. Thursday morning me and my friend Shaina spent the morning together in Walnut looking in quaint antique shops and going to lovely diner: Robert's Cafe! Afterwards she drove me to meet Hubbers at work so I could ride with him to Omaha.
So then Robert and I drove down to Omaha and visited his Grandma. She was very tired but looking quite good under the circumstances. Keep praying though. After that we just went home and konked out.
Just wanted to post about those days.
