Let the Rain Fall Down...

Today there is a terrific downpour throughout the area. I LOVE IT!
I love rainy days...they are so cozy.
They remind me of some of my favorite things: classic literature, naps and snuggling under warm covers, hot chocolate and soup, running through the rain on vacation in Waterton...I love rain. Whether I'm walking in it or inside ignoring it.
I have been back to work for two days so far...it's much more tiring then before but the break refreshed me. And besides that, I know it's not for forever...just a couple months.
Last night I read the entire book "The Inheritance" is was Louisa May Alcott's very first book and is actually quite short. She wrote it when she was just seventeen and it was published for long years.
Also I finished 1st Samuel!
Yay!
I really like First Samuel...I like the struggle between David and Saul...
"Saul has slains his thousands
And David his tens of thousands."

I remember always when I read that watching that part in Superbook. David acted very honorably towards Saul and whenever someone suggested to him that he slay Saul he always told them it was not right to lay his hand on the Lord's annointed one...Even though at that point God had long since rejected Saul as King David honored the fact that he WAS the annointed one. That is just so awesome...
