Well...Ariana was much more impressed with fireworks at four months then she was at 2yrs 4mons.
Last year we were camping in Glacier on the 4th and that seemed much more to her liking.
She was TERRIFIED.
Trembling and then she wanted to go to the Jeep with Cynthia but that still wasn't far enough so I took her to the van with her bottle and gave her a blanket and she hid underneath it and wouldn't peek for anything.
Poor little lady.
Hopefully by next year she will be more okay with it...
Last night she spent the night with Gigi and Poppy and so me and Robert stayed up late and watched the 3rd Pirates of the Caribbean. This morning around 7 we went over for breakfast along with the Youth Pastor and his family.
After a delicious breakfast (pancakes, french toast, hash browns, eggs, bacon, sausage and a few kinds of juice) we rode with Robert's familia to a parade at a smallish town about 45 minutes away.
Ariana loved the parade...it is a really good one over an hour long. She loved helping Cynthia and Gigi get candy to put in her bag.
Afterwards I was not feeling well...my feet and hands were swollen and I felt really woozy.
Robert took good care of me though even asking a long line of ladies if his pregnant wife could cut in line to go to the bathroom. =)
We came home and all took naps once we were back in town.
Me and Ariana's naps bordered the 5-6 hour range.
I had to get up to throw up a few times during my nap and haven't really felt good since the end of the parade.
Tonight we went to the fireworks with Joel and met all the Swensens and had fun with that. Ariana had fun until everything began in earnest.
Well..that was my day.
Happy Independence Day!
