The 411

A lot of times it seems like people like to ask me what is new.
What have I been up too.
etc.
That is a deer in the headlights question for me and I always find myself looking around frantically or trying drastic subject changes.
So...for those of you who care the following is my answer to that question.
Awana just started on Wednesday and I am helping with the yellow team again. (To my great delight) Also I am playing piano for T&T (3-6th grade).
It is really exciting yet also kinda scary because I have not played the piano much in years.
I have eight kids on my yellow team and really looking forward to this Awana year.
Once or twice a month they have theme nights so I am thinking I should definitely dress up with them! =)

Ariana is nearly 18 months now and she gets cuter every day. She knows lots and lots of words now and her favorite thing to do seems to be getting dirty and swimming. She has her shots next week.

Next week also we have our 7th wedding of the year. I think we still have two after that one. I love going to all the weddings and seeing people on their special day. I am looking forward to booking some solo weddings-hopefully next year.

Robert works two jobs and helps with the Awana bus. He likes to do archery in his free time.

I just realized this really sounds like a Christmas letter. hmm....that was not intentional.

Anyways...

I read an article that successful people take charge of the mornings so I have been trying to get up at 6:30 lately. My first hour is for devotions and exercise.
Then an hour of house cleaning and scrubbing. The scrubbing is because I REALLY want to paint our house however we have aluminum siding so before it can be painted the whole thing has to be scrubbed down and washed off. That is going slowly...I am too short.

My next hour is for my Task 2...ScrapSewing....that hour seems to DRAG by...and after that Ariana wakes up and has breakfast, a bath and plays. And I make lunch...and then find something else to do...like event planning for the most awesome group ever: The Vagabond Adventurers!!!!!!

So there you have it...that is what I am currently up too.

Oh...and next week is the highlight of every September: THE STEAMSHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
