The Next Two Days

Yesterday...yesterday was a more relaxing day. We pretty much stayed home other than a short walk. In the morning Elizabeth has a english lesson to teach so me and Shaina watched Ariana, Daniel, Amelia and the son of her student. That was action packed, I'm telling you. =)

Shaina has been serenading us with the piano recently which is most lovely. In the evening we all (except Janis who was camping out with his Bible study group) had popcorn, chocolate sausage and watched the Dr. Quinn Pilot. Elizabeth got a huge kick out of that.

This morning she made oatmeal and then we set off for the train to Riga. I love riding the train. We went first to the HUGE outdoor market-I should say mostly outdoor. We were inside one of the buildings and some little older lady just spat on the floor. That was odd...
After that we walked around old Riga and Shaina got a HUGE kick out of the birds.

Then we went and looked for Elizabeth's favorite cafe but to her deep dismay it has closed since she was last there. So then we went to the shopping center and had Russian dumplings at a resturant in the mall. Afterwhich we shopped and then went to a coffee shop to satisfy certain cravings.

We were supposed to sing with the church  tonight but we were so tired we went there talked to them and left. Dainis did ask if I would give a testimony tomorrow though...still have to decide what to say...Pray for me on that.

Tomorrow we have a busy day: There are two women visiting the church from Omaha so there is a fellowship after church tomorrow. Elizabeth and Janis are having company over and than we are going to Ruta's tomorrow evening for her Namesday.
