If anyone reads my lists of goals they may notice the special person every five days. That is; every five days to write about someone special to me...whoever is on my mind during that time. This time is my older sister, Sarah Elizabeth-Nani to me.
My sister is 7 years older than me. She was always called Sarah until she turned thirteen and then everyone switched and started calling her Elizabeth.
I have always looked up to her an awful lot. When I was little I would do my best to annoy her at times but the worst she would do is pinch me.
At one of the houses we lived in we had a roof that was at the brink of falling through-one night it did and Mom suddenly freaked beecause she didn't know where I was but Elizabeth had picked me up and was taking care of me. At least...I think that's how the story went...I could be wrong though.
I always used to want to play with Elizabeth when her friends came over but that did not really suit her.
Also whenever we played Barbies (we had around 25-30) before we could play we had to name then EVERY TIME. And the initials had to spell things: "Eve" "Love" etc. That is how Elizabeth played Barbies.
She looked out for me whenever my Marmie wasn't around...their was never a better sissy than mine I am sure.
I miss her more than just about anyone else. She was wonderfully fun and creative and just so Elizabeth-ian...
*sighs* I cannot describe my sissy...but I miss you Elizabeth so so much and I cannot wait to see you again when you come to America.
Love, your little Lulu
P.S. To anyone who reads this and has a sister...if she's still at home spend time with her and don't take for granted that she will always be right there...sister's are such a wonderfully precious gift from God. I have shed so many tears missing Elizabeth...so...spend some time with your sister(s) today...
