Today was an interesting day.
Well...kind of.
I opened at Border Fare which I have not done in forever and worked for around 6 hours. It went quite well considering how rusty I am.
And this evening I watched the girls get their hair highlighted at home...it was very interesting to see. I helped 'em rinse when it was time and I must say Lori did a very fine job with that.
Aside from that I practiced the Nocturne which I am having a horrible time getting recorded...partly because the one key that is VALID in trills sticks, so to make it work I have to push it down and in the next second pull it up and push it down in an millisecond. That is terribly annoying.
I am caught up on Bible reading but only memorized five instead of the ten verses I was trying for...which means to attain my goal I have to memorize 11 a day for the rest of the week. I am still plugging away at Ephesians too...Galatians was a breeze to get back to memory but Ephesians is proving much MUCH harder.
I am hoping to get some blog posts out of system the next few days but I don't know how that will go yet...
hrmm...
Have to get three more C.S. Lewis books tomorrow to complete that for the week...I am trying SO hard to get into good habits. Of Bible reading and memorization, time management, carrying out projects I start and so on. It's fun yet very challenging to stick to a steady of course of pattern when I don't actually have too. I make my to do list's in good faith but sometimes when it comes time to carry them out and I think, "eh, I don't want to do that." I want to get beyond that...to carry out the ideas I hold in my head and not carry them pointlessly for all time.
I am attempting to have the Old Testament read and Daniel memorized by the time Christmas hits. After that there is roughly December 26-February 13/March 5 until our little'un is born. In the time before she is born I would like to also read all the New Testament and memorize Revelation...I know that is a bit much so we'll see how these next five weeks go...
