Today I am working on the last five stockings for my collection. I did two between last night and this morning and I think they are positively adorable. I somehow misplaced all five stocking patterns my Marmie sent me last year and so I found a boot my sister had given me from Latvia, put it on the fabric and cut around it. Amazingly it turned out very well! That caused me endless delight! I'm not sure what I will do for the next three...they won't really work out of this particular boot...hmm...
This week is quite entertaining around here: Normally there are two cats (Maggie and Cole) One fish (I don't remember the fishes name) and one dog (Mollie) This week the nieghbor next door is in Mexico so we are babysitting her two birds! They are half parakeet and half parrot and have caused quite the stir with the rest of the animals in the house. They are supposed to be out of their cage every day so yesterday Cynthia and I had them out and they liked to fly ramdomly. One one was on her shoulder and decided to fly away into the great outdoors-only to slam into the glass door and hit the floor with a shocked expression. It still decided to attempt it a 2nd time however. Every morning these birds are supposed to have either a scrambled or boiled egg to make their bones strong and anytime anyone eats fruit they must share with the birds. I'm getting a kick out of it all!
I added to more stockings to my collection. I attempted a cowboy boot out of horse fabric but failed epicly at that. I'll use it anyway however...it's the thought...hopefully. The other is a lovely great big one that makes me smile to look at. One more and my stockings are finished! Hurrah!
And now...the stockings are done!!!!!!!!!!!!1 I am so excited! I think I may even survive childbirth class cheerfully!
I'm debating whether to do the quillows or aprons next...
